Types of Conflict -
1. Intrapersonal Conflict
- Occurs within an individual’s mind.
- Example: A student torn between pursuing passion (music) and parental expectations (engineering).
2. Interpersonal Conflict
- Between two or more individuals due to differences in opinions, values, or goals.
- Example: Friends arguing over trust issues or colleagues disagreeing on project methods.
3. Intragroup Conflict
- Happens within a group or team.
- Example: Members of a sports team disagreeing on strategy.
4. Intergroup Conflict
- Between different groups, communities, or organizations.
- Example: Rivalries between departments in a company or cultural clashes between communities.
5. Organizational Conflict
- Arises in workplaces due to hierarchy, resources, or policies.
- Example: Employees clashing with management over workload or pay.
6. Societal Conflict
- Large-scale disputes involving social classes, ethnic groups, or nations.
- Example: Political protests, cultural discrimination, or international disputes.
